Course Reflection

The course has made me more aware of certain web-based tools that can be useful for me as a teaching tool in the classroom and also gave me a bit of an insight as to what the future may bring. The number of sites can be overwhelming (in some cases I am left wondering when I will find the time to fully get my head round what these sites fully have to offer) but I am appreciative of this course for weeding out some of the more appropriate sites for educators. It is frightening to conceive how different the lives of my students are in terms of their use of technology (particularly the games they play interactively), but the world is changing and the more we are aware of what those changes are the more we are able to adapt and ensure we can still relate to them as much as we can.
